SYNOPSIS

Maria leaves the house with two full suitcases, but goes to the supermarket. From morning until dusk, she elaborates a complex system of penance rituals, seeking forgiveness for the sin she tries to find the courage to commit: leaving her family.

The film had its world premiere at the festivalFEMUNICE (Sobradinho/DF Multicultural Film Festival), also selected and shown at the17th Taguá Film Festival. Internationally, he participated in the Student World Impact Film Festival (2023) and was a semi-finalist in the New York International Women Festival.
